Yes, a virtual office service is completely legal. There is no legal obligation to work from your registered
address. A virtual office is a great option if you do not want to publicise your home address.

What is the difference between a Virtual office and a Registered Company address?
A Virtual Office is the trading address used across all marketing and communications, including
letterheads, business cards and your website. The Registered Company Address is an official
correspondence address that every limited company must provide when registering a company with
Companies House.
How long does it take to set up my virtual office address?
We will definitely have you set up at the beginning of the next business day following your order. But our
average time is just 10 minutes! (excluding KYC checks).
Do I need proof of ID to set up a Virtual Office?
Yes, Company Directors and Beneficial owners (person of significant control) will need proof of ID – either
a passport or driving license and a recent utility bill. An original scan or photograph is sufficient along with a
selfie of you holding the same documentation.
Do you accept parcels?
Yes, but only if you have purchased this option. The dimensions of your box for deliveries is 45cm x 45cmx
45 cm. There will be a limit to the number of parcels that will fit in your allocated box, so they must be
collected regularly. We do have the option to accept larger parcels, but further costs will be charged.

Additionally, we are unable to accept any parcels containing dangerous, live or perishable goods. LJ
Masters Ltd is entitled to refuse any item it considers unreasonable or unlawful.
Is my data safe?
Yes, LJ Masters Limited is certified with the ICO under the Data Protection Act 1998.
Do you have Meeting Room Rental?
We currently don’t, but we are hoping to offer this facility very soon.
Receiving Mail & Forwarding
We sort and hold all of the mail sent to your registered address, which you can collect whenever is
convenient for you. Once you have signed up we allocate a lockable box that we will give you a key for. We
can also forward this mail for you on a regular basis to any address. You can be notified whenever you
receive any mail. Mail forwarding is at an additional cost.
